Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to carry out stock control. It applies to stock held in a store, warehouse or locally in the plant.This unit applies to experienced operators, leading hands, supervisors or those in similar roles who are required to monitor stock levels, reconcile stock with inventory data and liaise with suppliers. Operators use a broad range of specialised knowledge and skills to interpret and provide information; identify and resolve problems and communicate technical solutions and advice. This unit applies to an individual working alone or as part of a team or group and in liaison with other shift team members, team leader and supervisor. No licensing or certification requirements exist at the time of publication. Relevant legislation, industry standards and codes of practice within Australia must be applied. | ||
